OUR STORY

Fundoo Labs creates friendly learning spaces where kids can explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through fun, hands-on activities. We provide educational programmes to be held in-school, after-school, at weekends, and during vacations. Our programmes encourage kids to explore, experiment and make discoveries about the world around them.

We work with kids from Class 1 to Class 9 (ages 6 to 15 years), helping them to learn more about the dynamic and engaging subjects of STEM through fun-filled, hands-on activities. Kids are taught to analyse and solve complex problems, equipping them to cope with life in today’s technology-driven world.

Experiential learning

At FundooLabs, we believe that true learning comes from doing rather than simply from reading and memorising. We tap into children’s natural desire to experiment and explore, and in our workshops, a child’s most important learning tool is imagination. Kids feel as though they are playing, but the play is structured in ways that encourage them to think. They make slime and learn chemistry; they fly planes and learn aerodynamics; they demolish buildings and learn structural engineering.

Our lessons are based on practical projects. Kids tackle science and technology problems which challenge them to be creative and to apply the concepts being discussed. They experiment, tinker, build, observe and innovate. And we hope, that like all of us at FundooLabs, they will fall in love with STEM.

WHO WE ARE

Naitik has rich experience in design engineering, and seeks to encourage innovative thinking in young minds. He is associated with the Govt. of India’s Niti Aayog as a mentor of change. He has a passion for creating educational tools that help promote understanding of scientific concepts by encouraging students to be more “hands on”.

Neelam specialises in illustration and graphic design. Her personal philosophy draws on everything from Aurobindo to Wodehouse; and the inspirations for her designs are pretty eclectic too. Neelam loves history and travel, and draws ideas from anywhere and anywhen.

Andrew’s first degree was in biology and maths, but he has spent many years researching communications technologies, and the way they change people’s relationship with information. He has a passion for education, good writing, and masala dosas.

Hemant is FundooLabs’ investment guru. He is interested in innovative ideas and social causes and seeks to promote both capital growth and community benefits. He is passionate about new enterprises and has years of experience in the practicalities of planning and modelling that are essential for a start-up to prosper.
